Following the success of the last edition of Málaga VANET Meeting (MVM2011), this year again we are going to rearrange this meeting with high quality presentations and discussions.
Second Málaga VANET Meeting (MVM2012) is a meeting focusing on vehicular communication issues. MVM2012 will provide a premier forum for dialogue, discussion, and knowledge transfer among researches and industry in the field of VANETs (Vehicular Ad-hoc NETworks), ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems), and smart-cities.
MVM2012 will be held on June 8th, 2012 in the ETS Ingeniería Informática of the University of Málaga, in the beautiful Costa del Sol (Sun Coast) in Spain.
NEO (Networking and Emerging Optimization) research group is the host of MVM2012.
MVM2012 is not a regular conference nor workshop, it is a one-day meeting consisting in a getting-together informal discussion and short presentations among groups (academia, industry, experts, students, etc.) interested in vehicular wireless communications and networking.
The main objective of MVM2012 is to disseminate state-of-the-art results in this research area, to highlight challenges in the development of VANETs, and to share lessons learned from field trial experiences. Moreover, the aim is to lay the foundation for future relations among the attendees to promote further research interests and activities.
This is a non-profit event free of charge.
